FitnessClass: Your Personal e-Fitness Trainer
In a previous post, we shared a few tech helpers for those whose New Year’s resolutions involved shedding that few (or not so few) extra pounds that seem to perpetually hang around. Apple gadgets are great tech health helpers, with all the health and fitness-related apps that you can cram into your iPhone, iPod and iPad. FitnessClass is one such app.
FitnessClass is an iPad app that can basically serve as your very own personal trainer. It provides more than 200 workout videos for users to choose from. This means that you can get practically any kind of workout imaginable, depending on what your needs are, without having to go to the gym, or finding time to go to the gym. The app gives users with on-demand professional classes for fat burning, core strengthening, and arm toning, among others.
Users can search for classes based on their personal goals, such as weight loss and strength; the time that they have available (anywhere from 10 mins to an hour); and equipment (such as dumbbells and Swiss ball). What users will be unable to do, however, is to sort classes by difficulty.
FitnessClass is free, along with seven classes that users can start with. For additional classes, you can choose to rent for 30 days, at 99 cents to $4.99 per class, or buy them for $3.99 to $14.99. You can preview these classes before you make your purchase.
